Happy New Year!
Well, that’s out of the way. Next thing, I suppose I’d better wish you a happy hangover. Drink some cold coke, take a fizzy-make-feel-good and carry on.
So, welcome to Mitheren.com, my personal site that doesn’t really have any goal in particular. At least not yet. The plan is to have a place to talk about basically anything I’m interested in at any given time, be it a game I’m playing, something in the news (the real news or the more Slashdot style of news), a rant that I just need to have, something ‘cool’ that I’ve coded or something going on in real life for example my upcoming O Week leadership.
Content may be anything from what I’ve done this weekend, how I feel about a game or showing something cool you might not have known about. While I can see this might not be everyone’s favourite reading material, I’ll try and keep it interesting, and anything that is completely irrelevant can just be passed off as future-proofing against possible amnesia or Alzheimer’s, or just forgetfulness.
Anyway, I’ll get a few balls rolling in the next couple of days (I’ve got tomorrow and Sunday off work!) and get a couple of posts set and out the door. Until then, make sure you have fun doing your New Years thing!
P.S. I wrote this earlier today and set it to post at midnight. I’m not sitting here now, at midnight Jan 1, 2010.

That’s fine, I wasn’t really worried, just figured it might be quicker that way, then got some time off work any did it anyway. I figured you must have been with family or something so that’s all good.
I was thinking about replacing the main page with this (particularly when I get more going with it, perhaps using a static page for the front, we’ll see).
WordPress is able to do that sort of redirect itself (unless that’s a bad idea?) like on T&J.Next job is to find some time between work and sleep to do some of this and get back into coding!

Yeah, I think I’ll either use that same way that wordpress allows you to do it (like Timmy and Johnno does), or I’ll even consider just moving it all. Obviously that would take longer
I’m just going to get a little bit more done around here (you’ll see I’ve added a Projects page, and spent a lot longer than I should looking for a good way to make a drop-down menu of links to those projects) and make sure I’ve got it how I want before I put it at the root. Not that the current site is any better or has anything this doesn’t. Just tweaking and deciding on what to write about…Pity I don’t think I can do anything about the tweets saying that they are 11 hours later than they are :/

Sorry for not responding to your emails, I was sick (which for some reason always happens between Christmas and NYE).
Anyway, I was thinking that you should maybe replace the main mitheren.com page with this blog, and use WordPress’ page creation capabilities for the few actual pages you have there.
Or, if you want, contact me and I’ll add a server-side redirect.
